Enrollment & Lottery Policy
Any child who resides in Nevada can submit an application to attend a Nevada Charter School, in accordance with NV state law (NRS 388A.453(1)). DBAE encourages and welcomes all students and does not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression ((NRS 388A.453(6)).

New Student Applications
DBAE is now accepting student applications for the 2025-2026 school year.

Students must apply to be considered, and our lottery will be held on February 4, 2025. Students who apply after February 4, 2025, will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis, as long as seats are available. We will be allotted 120 seats for Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd, 6th grade and 7th grade. If a student’s grade level is already full, they will be added to the waitlist.

Random Lottery
If the number of applications submitted exceeds the number of seats available, students will be admitted through a random lottery on February 4, 2025. Families selected will be notified within 1 week of conducting the lottery, and the order of the wait list will also be determined by the results of the lottery.
